About the PFF Charity
Parents, Friends & Family of Chantry (PFF) is the registered Parent Teacher Association for Chantry Primary School in Bexhill. We’ve been a registered charity since 1999 (Charity Number 1078343) and are run entirely by volunteers — parents, carers, friends, and staff working together for the benefit of the children.
Our charitable object is simple: “to advance the education of the pupils in the school.” We do this by organising fundraising events such as seasonal fairs, school discos, and community activities. The money we raise goes directly to the school, helping to provide resources, equipment, and experiences that would not otherwise be available through the school budget.
The charity is governed by a constitution adopted in October 1999 and updated in 2010. While we don’t own property or receive Gift Aid, we are committed to good governance and have a risk management policy in place.
Based in East Sussex, the PFF continues to be an important part of school life — strengthening the sense of community, creating fun events for families, and ensuring that Chantry children benefit from “the little extras” that enrich their school days.
